M.A.P. Your Health Chicago
Tomorrow, Orange Biomed is hosting MAP Your Health Chicago, a free community resource fair uniting Humboldt Park Health, Howard Brown Health, Chicago Urban League, Illinois Public Health Institute, Cancer Wellness Center, Project Patient Care, DEEP, and other local organizations to tackle chronic disease prevention.
Chicago families are invited to a free health "playground" at Humboldt Park Health's new Wellness Center on August 16, where prevention meets fun through:
- Interactive activities: Family yoga, healthy food tastings (Simple Mills, Metric Coffee, & Protein Bar & Kitchen), and walking tours of the indoor track
- Expert Q&As: Pediatricians and nutritionists answering questions about childhood obesity prevention
- Giveaways: Free day passes to the wellness center and raffles for family memberships
