LEAD host Chicago networking event featuring top restaurant industry leaders on Thursday, June 6
WHAT: LEAD (Leadership, Exploration and Development), a branch of nonprofit GLEAM Network that provides affordable access to premier networking opportunities, expert insights and personal development resources to the next generation of hospitality industry leaders, will host keynote speaker, McDonald’s USA Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer, Tabassum Zalotrawala, at its networking event on Thursday, June 6, from 5 – 8:30 p.m. at Chicago’s Hayden Hall.
Also speaking at the event will be founding GLEAM board member and top food & restaurant industry executive Carin Stutz. Stutz has served as Native Foods president/CEO, Red Robin EVP and chief operating officer, McAlister’s Deli president, Cosi president and CEO, and more.
The event will also feature a variety of panelist speakers including:

“Many conferences and networking events are cost prohibitive for young professionals in our industry,” said GLEAM board member and Barcelona Wine Bar COO Amy Hom. “We founded LEAD to tackle these prohibitive costs and offer affordable access to premier networking opportunities, expert insights by industry leaders and personal development resources. Our Chicago LEAD event is only $40 per person and includes access to education from top leaders in the restaurant industry, plus delicious food and beverages. Our goal is to gather 100 emerging leaders in the restaurant industry to continue passing on knowledge to the next generation."
