An Afternoon of the Macabre featuring the Music if Dr. Michael Karasis
Composer Dr. Michael Karasis presents “An Afternoon of the Macabre,” Music for Chorus and Orchestra, at the Performing Arts Center of Harper College on Saturday, July 13, 2024, with the Elmhurst Choral Union, and The Orchestra of the Macabre, conducted by Scott Uddenberg. They will perform his oratorio for chorus and orchestra Frankenstein. Also on the program will be Prometheus, his overture for orchestra, and the premiere of The Raven, a tone poem based on Edgar Allen Poe’s classic.
