This includes Madeline Clara Cheng, our 2024-2025 Young Composer-in-Residence in partnership with Hearing in Color, whose commissioned piece will be premiered at this concert. Also featuring works by Hildegard von Bingen, Lili Boulanger, Missy Mazzoli, Jocelyn Hagen, Margaret Bonds, the ensemble's namesake Francesca Caccini, this program celebrates the visionary creativity of history’s often-overlooked icons.
