Tea Time Concert: South Asian Music Ensemble
The South Asian Music Ensemble presents a concert featuring excerpts of songs in several languages from various composers throughout South Asia. The works explore themes of life courses in South Asia, represented through music, including songs of religious festivals that mark the passage of calendrical time, as well as wedding and funeral songs.
The music begins at 4:30 PM, with tea and cookies served at 4:15 PM.
