Whether you are worried about a loved one or want to be prepared if you encounter a possible overdose in public, this training will teach the basics about opioids and overdose and how to respond if you suspect an overdose. You will also learn about Narcan, which is a safe medication that helps to restore breathing when a person is experiencing an opioid overdose. Our free training on Saturday, November 23, will last about 2 hours, and you'll receive Narcan to take with you.
