Metalsmithing/ Jewelry Making Workshop
Create your own jewelry in just one day! This workshop covers essential metalsmithing techniques like stone setting, ring sizing, soldering, texturing, sawing, and using flex shaft attachments. During the 6-hour session , you'll work with sterling silver, honing your design and fabrication skills. By the end of the day, you will have crafted one ring and one pendant. This class is perfect for beginners or anyone looking for a refresher.
**Skills Covered:** Sawing, Texturing, Stamping, Soldering, Bezel Setting, Polishing
**Prerequisite:** No experience required. Suitable for ages 14 and up. Students under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
**Tools:** Provided, though you’re welcome to bring your own if preferred.
**Materials:** Materials (metal and stones) will cost approximately $50-150 plus tax and can be purchased during the class. Feel free to bring your own, or choose from the studio’s selection.
**Lunch:** A 30-minute break is included, and students will have a 2-hour window for self-paced work to finish their projects.
Please note: This building is not handicap accessible. You will have to walk up three flights of stairs to access the studio.
