FOX VALLEY TO HOST ZUMIEZ ‘MORE THAN ROLLING’ TOUR
Fox Valley, a three-story shopping center serving generations of Aurora/Naperville-area visitors (www.ShopFoxValleyMall.com), will host the Zumiez More Than Rolling event on Saturday, July 27th, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the southeast parking lot between mall entrance 2 and Lumen Fox Valley apartments. Zumiez More Than Rolling is an eight-stop tour across the U.S. this summer, including Phoenix, Las Vegas, Atlanta, San Antonio, Chicago, Salt Lake City, Portland, and New Jersey. This will be the first year in Chicago and is the third year for this Zumiez tour which is an evolution of the Zumiez Couch Tour. The event will feature tunes from DJ Barragoon; live local bands, artists and food vendors; a car show; an all-wheels skate park; an opportunity to connect with local non-profits and organizations to learn about their causes; fun games and prizes. The More Than Rolling tour is geared mainly to teenagers from 16 to 19 years old, but the event is appropriate for all ages. The tour is designed to bring the community together around “skate adjacent” lifestyles and highlight the uniqueness of the Chicago community. This event is free and open to the public.
