Stuart Tilton is an electrical engineer & synth builder experimentalist from Elgin IL, for his premier Chicago performance he presents “Space Madness and The Radio Cage”: a sonic invasion of Benjolin, Vocoder, Filtered Noise and Mangled Live Broadcast Radio that will shatter the Comfort of your Station. This will be his first Chicago appearance.
Soundoferror is Daniel Burke focused on making music exclusively with synthesis of every kind. Hardware, software, modular, & keys. Any form is fair game, though the forms usually tend toward the abstract and experimental. This performance he will use a small Eurorack modular with a focus on Mungo modules, in particular the D0 delay and their unique capabilities.

Homogenized Terrestrials : Phil Klampe has been making homemade abstract recorded sound packaged with fascinating artwork since the early eighties. He explores atmospheres that draw inspiration from concepts of time, discovering lost sounds, alien artifacts, & translating unknown signals & has amassed a catalog of intensely interesting and unique recordings in the veins of minimalism/electronic/musique concrete & ambient musics.

Neil Jendon has had roles as a psychedelically-driven guitarist in Catherine (TVT Records), a more experimental-minded guitarist in the avant-garde group Zelienople, and as half of Abduction (with Michael Miley). Working with improvision, noise, drone, electronic, rock and pop forms & for this event he will be improvising on a Eurorack modular.
