The Windy City Science Fair - For Adults!
CALLING ALL SCIENCE NERDS OF CHICAGO: We are so freaking excited to announce the first ever Windy City Science Fair — For Adults! (no, sorry, your kids cannot help you with your project 😂), presented by @subversionproductions (producers of @TheButtcrackerBurlesque) and @the_solarpunk_project (the mastermind behind Chicago’s very own Weather Text)!

Remember how fun the Science Fair was in elementary school?? Maybe you made a baking soda volcano and are ready to elevate your game?? Maybe you want to show the world how slime mold can power a lightbulb? Maybe you’re ready to explain how purple coneflower can boost your immune system? Did you win your school AND district Science Fair only to lose in state to a stupid volcano? Well now is your chance for redemption!

@seejaqpun and @dr.mika are teaming up to host a fun, engaging science-filled Fair for adults to spread the joy of science and have a little fun doing it!! The event itself will be held on May 4, 2024 at The Color Club (4146 N Elston). Don’t miss out, REGISTER TODAY !!

The fair itself will consist of projects, prizes, live music, food and drink! Plus an after party to celebrate the winners! Tickets for the fair itself will be on sale in April. Registration fee for a project is $20. Accepting projects through March 4th! Don't wait!
