The Deep End: Improv Comedy
Thursday, March 2nd at 7:00pm come see some of Chicago’s best improv comedy teams at up-and-coming venue Color Club! Second City Conservatory graduates Swim Test will be hosting a night of entirely made-up, on-the-spot hilarity featuring three other marquee acts:
Wet Bus: Featured in Chicago Reader, Wet Bus has been dazzling the Chicago improv scene for the better part of the last decade at iO Theater and beyond.
First Wives Club: The live-on-stage incarnation of beloved podcasters and improvisers John Patrick Coan (“JPC”) and Johnny O’Mara. This duo can be heard together on their podcast Bill Buds, or separately on Hey Riddle Riddle (JPC) and Campaign: Skyjacks (Johnny).
3 Actors Living In A Cave: 3 Actors is a recent collaboration of some of Chicago’s most acclaimed improvisers. You might have seen Ollie Hobson, Mike Brunlieb, or Kyle Bethea at The Annoyance, iO, Logan Square Improv, CIC Theater, or on HBO’s Southside. 3 Actors combines their decades of improv experience on an unmissable team.
Swim Test will kick off night with a special guest monologist to inspire improvised scenes in Color Club’s first floor tavern space.
