HOTDOG HOTDOG
Frankly, HOTDOG HOTDOG is a night worth relishing for any Chicagoan, where buns bump across a night of spicy musical mayhem. Audio-reactive hot-dog-themed visuals—captured by hurling real glizzies at a cinema camera—respond to input from musicians and comedians. Using a self-programmed MIDI keyboard, visuals are composed in real time to uniquely respond to each act.
The meat of the matter is a two-hour immersive, audio-visual hot-dog experience. The event itself runs 3-4 hours in total, starting with a pre-show that includes a vendor selling hot dogs for consumption (vegan options available), hot-dog merch from local artists available for purchase, and hot-dog themed decorations and digital interactives. Everyone’s a wiener!
