Changosnakedog, Family Friendly Live music & Puppets
ChangoSnakeDog & Friends delivers a vibrant, multicultural live music experience featuring puppet rockstars. It includes a special pre-show, paper puppet-making workshop.
ChangoSnakeDog,a blue Puppy; Balam, a Jaguar from the jungle in the south; and Zana, la Rana de Indiana, sing original songs in Spanish, English, and Mayan, geared towards children and families, to celebrate our cultural identities, heritage, friendship, and love. The show blends different rhythms and musical traditions, like reggae, blues, swing-jazz, cumbia, son jarocho, and traditional Mayan, and is presented with live musicians and puppeteers.
A pre-concert workshop allows families to create and decorate paper puppets from card stock.
