Rhythms are deeper here, laying the foundation for album's backing group, The Sunsettes. These Minnesota songstresses radiate over the band’s modest bravado.
Villekulla is an instrumental group drawing on elements of psych rock, desert blues, and funk to inform its eclectic sound. Longtime players in Chicago's music scene, they bring a broad range of influences to the project, creating a luscious yet groovy output. Their debut album is currently in the works.
From Chicago, IL, BAUGS brings a distinct brand of toe-tapping dark pop through methodical use of lush synthesizers, spacey vocals, and the more-than-occasional harp or saxophone.
