Dog-Friendly Howl-O-Ween Costume Contest at Cody's Public House
Chicago’s pups are taking center stage this spooky season at Cody’s Public House in West Lakeview. Famous for its dog-friendly vibe both indoors and out, on Sunday, October 26, Cody’s will transform into a tail-wagging Halloween celebration with its Howl-O-Ween Costume Contest. The fun begins at 4 p.m. when furry friends and their humans can strut their stuff for a chance to win cash prizes. Prizes will include $100 for Best Doggy Costume and $200 for Best Dog + Human Combo Costume. Guests will also enjoy raffles supporting ALIVE Rescue,, free pup cups and doggy swag, and a special “Pup-Tail” menu with 50-percent of proceeds benefitting ALIVE Rescue. Dink specials will include $5 Lagunitas Pints and $7 Tito’s cocktails. Football fans are encouraged to come early to catch the Bears vs. Ravens game at 12 p.m., then stick around for the four-legged festivities.
