Chicago Urban League Back to School Fest
Chicago Urban League’s Back to School Festival is expected to welcome more than 400 Chicagoland students and families for its annual event to celebrate the impending start of the school year. 700+ backpacks filled with essential school supplies will be distributed for students from kindergarten through 12th grade and supplied by Group Sales and OneMain Financial. School physicals and vaccinations administered by Near North Health’s Care Van, haircuts, food, beverage and cool treat trucks, a gaming truck, face painting and more will be available – free of charge for all attendees. Additionally, in partnership with Woodstock Institute, a financial resources area will provide informative information for the parents attending with their children. All are encouraged to attend and can register on our website.
