Mental Filmness Presents A Screening Of Compression
Please join Mental Filmness, a Chicago-based film festival about mental health, for the closing night of our sixth annual festival! We will proudly present the feature film Compression, a surreal psychological horror film directed by Jakob Bilinski.
Hazel (Emily Jean Durchholz) is an intense agoraphobe who runs a true crime podcast about cases involving missing women. When her ill-planned staycation goes awry in the middle of a particularly rough drug trip, she's forced to face her fears, confront her trauma, and take the not-so-metaphorical steps towards feeling alive again in this surreal horror-drama from director Jakob Bilinski.
Jakob Bilinski, as well as cast and crew members, will be available after the screening for a discussion with the audience.
