Earth Hour, an annual dedication launched in 2007 by the World Wildlife Fund, will be commemorated with “an evening of flavor, heritage & sustainability” presented by Che Figata, the authentic Italian kitchen in Naperville beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 22.
A culinary journey throughout time, every dish served at Che Figata’s Earth Hour Wine Dinner is developed with ingredients that were harvested, foraged, hunted or wild-caught in the late 19th century. Rooted in history, each course is reimagined with modern fine-dining techniques for a unique, immersive experience.
The wine presentation that will accompany the meticulously curated menu will be guided by esteemed sommelier Julie Jacobsen. The wine list is composed of rare and exquisite pre-phylloxera wines: exceptional vintages from grapevines untouched by the 19th century phylloxera epidemic.
The candlelit final course will be a visually stunning tribute to Earth Hour and conservation.
The full menu and reservation link for this $150 per person event can be found at CheFigataKitchen.com. Che Figata is located at 2155 CityGate Ln., Naperville, in CityGate Centre on Rte. 59 near I-88.
