Central Park Bar Celebrates Four Years with a Halloween Emo Costume Party
This October, Central Park Bar marks its fourth anniversary with a night of spooky nostalgia and emo anthems. On Thursday, October 30 starting at 8 p.m., the Avondale favorite will transform its patio into the ultimate Halloween Emo Costume Party.
Guests can belt out their favorite throwback hits as the DJ spins emo classics all night long, while sipping on hauntingly delicious drink specials. Costumes are highly encouraged, and at 10 p.m. the spotlight shifts to a Costume Contest, with prizes awarded for the best Halloween looks.
Spooky drink specials will include the Autumn Bottom with Rittenhouse Rye whiskey, Apple Pie Vodka, St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram, Alpeggio Hay liqueur, lemon juice, agave syrup ($13), Ecto-Shooter with Lagoon Bay Icelandic Orange Bitter Aperitif, Meletti Lemoncello, Angostura bitters ($6), and Southern Tier Pumking ($9). Guests can also start the festivities early with a half-price happy hour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
