Bike the Drive
Bike the Drive takes place annually on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. It’s the one day a year that bikes reign supreme and Lake Shore Drive is open to cyclists of all abilities. Three rest stops along the route ensure that participants are rested and well fueled. After the ride, a festival takes place in Butler Field featuring food, vendors and live music. ​The event benefits Active Transportation Alliance which is a non-profit,​ member-based advocacy organization that works to make bicycling, walking​ and public transit safe, convenient and fun.
