Convergence of History: Four Anniversaries, One Faith
On Saturday, June 20, beginning at 3:00 p.m., Kingdom Impact Theater (KIT) Ministries, will present Convergence of History: Four Anniversaries, One Faith at Bellevue Ministry Center, 10715 S. Halsted Street in Chicago. A multi-media theater revue of music and dramatizations from notable moments, documents and speeches in American history, the program also highlights the role of Christianity in America’s past and future.
Convergence of History is comprised of highlights from six shows written and performed by KIT Ministries founders, Michael Edgar Myers and Vikki J. Myers, that have toured in the Chicagoland area since January to connect four anniversary milestones occurring in 2026: Negro History Week (100 years); Black History Month (50 years); Juneteenth Federal Holiday (5 years); Declaration of Independence (250 years).
There is no charge to attend this family-friendly event, which includes patriotic, spiritual, popular, and original songs about freedom that connect the various scenes and program themes. However, seating is limited, so attendees are encouraged to reserve a seat by using the event URL.
