Each artist, whether consciously or subconsciously, expands where Surrealism left off. Rather than a historical revisit of Surrealism, Residual Surrealisms explores how Surrealist tendencies live on right here in Chicago, and in contemporary artistic practice - as an echo, a mood, a glitch, and an intuitive response.
