Elaine's Dolls Annual Christmas Open House

Elaine's Dolls of Highland, IN is having their Annual Christmas Open House, a doll and bake sale, to benefit orphans in Sierra Leone, Africa. The dates are December 2, 9am to 4pm, and December 3, noon to 4pm. 30% of the proceeds from the sale will be donated to The Savior of the World children's home, an orphanage in Waterloo, Sierra Leone, Africa. Dolls offered for sale include quality German and French antique bisque dolls, composition dolls of the 1930's and 40's, hard plastic dolls from the 1950's, and other collectable dolls. Also for sale are Elaine's one of a kind antique Christmas doll creations. Also, if you have grandma or mom’s old doll and are wondering how much it is worth, Elaine will be doing doll appraisals for five dollars per doll which will also be donated to the orphanage. She also might be interested in buying your old doll if you want to sell. For those who don't collect dolls, or just have a sweet tooth, the sale will also offer tasty nut or poppy seed rolls, and special Christmas Cookie trays. There will be door prizes and refreshments available. There is no admission charge.
