Miles For Migraine and NHF Walk Run Relax Event
Miles For Migraine's annual Illinois event for migraine is a fundraising event to raise awareness and funds for those affected by migraine and headache disease. Our walk is a professionally timed timed Illinois 5K run and an untimed walk. Funds raised go towards supporting local migraine research, education for headache fellows (doctors receiving specialty training in the field of headache medicine) plus Miles For Migraine programming here in Illinois.
This year's local beneficiary is The Seymour Diamond M. D. Fellowship in Headache Medicine, which works in collaboration with The Department of Neurology at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and the Diamond Headache Clinic offers their 1 year Headache Medicine Fellowship. The fellowship focuses on management of headache disorders.
