West Side Fireflies @ Garfield Park Conservatory
We’re excited to announce that we will offer our early childhood music program, Fireflies, on the West Side in partnership with Garfield Park Conservatory! The program introduces children to sound and play through the Earth, Wind, & Fire songbook and is the perfect place for families to connect. This is the first event in a series of opportunities to experience West Side Fireflies, and will feature teaching artists Shanta Nurullah, Zahra Baker, and others!Â
Music Moves Chicago is Old Town School of Folk Music's place-based, youth-focused, intergenerational initiative that aims to inspire, restore, and transform communities by providing access to high-quality arts education, concerts, and workforce readiness through partnerships with community organizations, schools, and other institutions located in South and West side neighborhoods.
