Metro Hosting “Pi Day Challenge” to Find the City’s Fastest Pizza Box Folder
To celebrate National Pi Day on March 14, Metro by T-Mobile and Power 92.3 are hosting a “Pi Day Challenge” to find the city’s fastest pizza box folder – and see if they are as fast as Metro’s 5G network.
From 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, the public is invited to the Metro by T-Mobile store at 15860 Kedzie Ave. in Markham to fold a standard pizza box as fast and cleanly as possible. Participants with the fastest times will win prizes, including a grand prize of $200 and tickets to popular local events.
Beggar’s Pizza will provide the boxes along with free pizza and drinks for participants and spectators during the challenge, while supplies last.
Prizes courtesy of Power 92.3 and Metro by T-Mobile will be awarded throughout the day and will include:
- 2 pairs of tickets to see the Chicago Bulls play the Houston Rockets at the United Center on March 23.
- 1 pair of tickets to see Pitbull at Credit Union One Amphitheater in Tinley Park on Sep.13.
- 1 pair of tickets to see the "We Dem Ones" Comedy Tour with Mike Epps at Wintrust Arena on April 25.
- 1 pair of tickets to see Legends of Laughter at the Arie Crown Theater on April 4.
- 1 pair of tickets to see Kid Cudi at Credit Union One Amphitheater in Tinley Park on May 22.
Everyone is encouraged to come out to celebrate National Pi Day with some free pizza and the opportunity to win great prizes.
