Supper’s ready! The Chicago Firehouse Restaurant,1401 S Michigan Ave, is thrilled to debut a nostalgic “Sunday Supper at the Firehouse” experience beginning Sunday, October 29 that will be available every week moving forward. Inspired by the time-honored custom of keeping Sunday festivities focused on family through food, The Chicago Firehouse Restaurant will offer a chef-curated, three-course menu filled with delicious, family-friendly and hearty options that offer guests comfort through food and the company of one another from 3 p.m.- 8 p.m. for $49 per person. Reservations for “Sunday Supper at the Firehouse” can be made via Resy. The “Sunday Supper at the Firehouse” experience offers a three-course meal for $49 per person. The first course features specialties like a Chopped Wedge Salad and New England Clam Chowder. For the main course, guests have their choice from a range of dishes designed to enhance heartwarming moments around the table such as Julia Child’s Roast Chicken with roasted potatoes, baby carrots and a lemon pan sauce andChief Swenie’s Sunday Gravy with Italian sausage, meatballs, tomatoes, red wine andrigatoni. Family Style complements may be added to the meal at an additional cost with choices including Mashed Potatoes and Mushroom Gravy and Sweet Corn Casserole with fresh corn, hominy, green chilis and jack cheese. Since no family meal is complete without dessert, diners may indulge in Warm Apple Pie a La Mode or a rich, Classic Chocolate Cake.
