Let Me Run Fall Fest 5K - Family Run
On Saturday, December 14th Let Me Run boys from schools across North and South Carolina will come together for an energy filled 5K event to celebrate their growth over the Fall season. Let Me Run is a national non-profit organization headquartered in Charlotte inspiring boys through the power of running to be courageous enough to be themselves, build healthy relationships, and live an active lifestyle. 3rd-8th grade boys have been training for the 5K on teams two times a week for 7 weeks supporting each other through ups and downs with the goal of crossing the finish line together. Volunteer coaches not only teach the lifelong skill of running but they become mentors as well- using the Let Me Run curriculum to teach teamwork, empathy, commitment, perseverance, self-love, and so much more.
