Meet Thomas Dambo: The Talent Behind the Giant Trolls
Thomas Dambo has built 150+ giant trolls around the world — and now he’s coming to the Queen City this November. Hear Dambo, the world-renowned Danish recycle artist who turns trash into treasure, share stories of creativity, community and sustainability at this special event at The Sarah Belk Gambrell Center for the Arts and Civic Engagement at Queen's University on Nov. 6.
After the talk, stay for a screening of “A Man Named Pearl” — the inspiring story of self-taught topiary artist Pearl Fryar — followed by a chat with the film’s director, Scott Galloway, and local sustainability leaders.
