Charlotte Black Dogs and Pineville Parks & Rec. presents the 10th Annual- "Paws in the Park" FREE Family Event Saturday, April 13, 2024 10am-3pm Rain or Shine Pineville Lake Park 1000 Johnston Drive, Pineville, NC 28134 "Paws in the Park" is one of LARGEST Dog Events in the Charlotte area, mark your calendars and plan to attend. Rescues & Animal Shelters with fundraising items and dogs available for adoption, Food Trucks, Business & Arts/craft vendors, Blessing of the Animals, Dog Contests, Photo Booth, Kids Playground, Dogs of the Charlotte Fire Dept., CLT Canine Crew, Circus Stella, and LIVE on stage ~~Chairmen of the Board! "Paws in the Park" will be dedicated to McGrady and the Fabulous McGrady and Friends Foundation. We will be doing a fundraising drive that you can participate in. Details coming soon. ******************************************** Our schedule subject to change: 10am- Event opens w/ DJ Darin Page Henley 10:30am- Demonstrations by the Dogs of the Charlotte Dept & CLT Canine Crew at stage 11am-Presentation to McGrady, the Fabulous Deaf Dog & Friends Foundation at stage 11am- Circus Stella on hill 11:30am- Blessing of the Animals at stage with Pineville United Methodist Church 12pm- Dog Contests at stage emceed by WBTV 12:30pm- Circus Stella on hill 1-3pm- Chairmen of the Board at stage 2pm-Circus Stella on hill ********************************************** DOG CONTESTS with Cash prizes! Emceed by WBTV, everyone is welcome to participate as it is FREE to sign-up. Sign up required by 11:30am at Charlotte Black Dogs Tent. (Limit of 15 dogs in each category) The audience is judging this popular event. 1. Smallest dog 1 year and older 2. Largest Dog measured around chest 3. Best Dog Trick 4. Best Dressed Female 5. Best Dressed Male 6. Best Dressed Group (min of 2 dogs/max 5 dogs per entry) ******************************************** ALL friendly dogs are welcome to attend and must be on a leash at all times. PLEASE, no retractable leashes, they are not allowed for safety. Please feel free to bring a chair or blanket for the grass in front of the stage area. >Parking at Pineville Lake Park is reserved for vendors and is handicap accessible. There is plenty of FREE parking within walking distance to park- Lakeview Drive, Grace life Church, The Hut, Pineville Elementary School and Downtown Pineville area.
