Young Artist Studio Series: Printmaking (ages 11-13)
This 6 week series is designed for young artists ages 11-13 who want to delve into and master the basics of a specific medium. Our teaching artists will guide students through the fundamentals of their chosen medium; fostering creativity and encouraging exploration.
In this studio series, participants will experiment with multiple methods of printmaking including linocut, wood block, and monoprinting to create a variety of unique works. These classes have a flexible curriculum so teaching artists can adapt to the students needs. All skill levels are welcome and all materials are included!
Class will meet weekly on Monday from 6:00-7:00 PM. Class dates are January 8, January 15, January 22, January 29, February 5, and February 12. Cost for all 6 classes is $250.
