Vidya Vox is an Indian-American singer and YouTuber who gained popularity for her mashups of Bollywood and Western music. Her real name is Vidya Iyer and she was born in Chennai, India in 1990. She later moved to the United States with her family when she was eight years old and grew up in Virginia.
Vidya started her music career by posting cover songs on YouTube in 2015, which quickly gained millions of views and subscribers. She is known for blending different music genres such as Indian classical music, pop, hip-hop, and electronic dance music in her mashups.
