Discovering Strings (ages 3-7)
This six-week class provides a fun introduction to the violin and cello. Students will learn the parts of the instrument, how to care for a string instrument, and how to hold the instrument and bow. This class will build a solid foundation for future string studies and include other fun music, movement, and listening games. Come discover the joy of beginning violin and cello as a community, with other interested students! This class is designed for our young musicians to learn alongside their parents/caregivers. The final class will be a concert for our family and friends!
Prerequisites: None!
No instrument needed! We use box instruments which are provided.
