Opening Day at Bechtler Museum of Modern Art
Our fall exhibition features works that explore the impact of industrialization on art. Throughout the decades, this artistic exploration has revealed both a delight in and a fear of advancements in technology. There are many parallels to the way we talk about artificial intelligence today.
Visitors are invited to invent, create and explore at our accompanying free Family Day event, "Creative Construction." Community partner Upcycle Arts will be on hand to encourage exploration and creativity! Art supplies provided, but visitors are invited to bring any cardboard box or cardboard items to transform the museum into a giant Bauhaus inspired cardboard city!
