IDK Gouache Painting
Gouache, often called ‘opaque watercolor’, is a favorite for illustrators and designers. It is a water-based paint so can be used without chemicals and creates matte, flat colors. In this three-hour workshop, participants will explore how to decide on and mix interesting color palettes and create imagery through layering opaque colors. Each participant will create several small studies based around a single object or image as well as a final work based upon their own composition. Participants will leave this class with confidence in working with Gouache in future works.
