Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard Celebrates Grand Opening in Mooresville
WHAT:
Living in Mooresville just got sweeter as Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard - the beloved brand known for its delicious Italian Ice and Frozen Custard treats – today announced it is hosting a grand opening in Mooresville, NC, at 243 Singleton Road, Suite D4, this Friday November 17.
Starting at 3 p.m., the new location will reward the first 50 guests in line with Free Rita’s Italian Ice for a Year!* Additionally, the store will be offering guests a $2 Small Italian Ice and a $3 Small Gelati. From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., guests are invited to enjoy photo opportunities with Rita’s mascot Ice Guy, the Rita’s prize wheel, merchandise giveaways, a face painter, and more. The celebration will also include performances by Langtree Charter Academy, Lake Norman High School and Neighborhood Dance Studio.
To officially commemorate the opening of Rita’s of Lake Norman, local franchisees Krisztina and Randy Miara will host the shop’s official ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4 p.m. In addition to the celebration, Krisztina and Randy will donate 40% of total sales on Friday, November 17, to The Dale Jr. Foundation, an organization dedicated to giving underprivileged individuals, with a focus on youth, the resources to improve their confidence and education and the opportunity to achieve extraordinary goals.
Rita’s Italian Ice is made fresh daily on-site and available in a rotating daily selection from over 75 flavors. Rita’s menu also includes creamy Frozen Custard and signature frozen treats such as Gelati, Concretes, Milkshakes and more.
Rita’s is actively looking for additional franchisees to help develop the brand throughout the country. The brand is seeking to partner with hands-on entrepreneurs who are passionate about the brand and motivated to grow.
