To launch this year’s limited batch of Apple Brandy, Distiller Max Pfeffer and his team at Manatawny Still Works will host a lively outdoor event with live music and popular Philadelphia restaurant Mike’s BBQ. Starting at noon on Saturday, September 18 the distillery in Pottstown, PA will celebrate with a day packed with exciting events:
First taste of Apple Brandy!
- Sip on the 2021 release of fall’s best spirit – enjoy a creative cocktail list by MSW’s Jennifer Sabatino
Live Music
- 1 pm to 4:30 pm: James Mars – “Blues mixed with a laid-back vibe from Upper Pottsgrove’s Rising Star”
- 7:30 pm to close: Penny’s Wasted – “Rocking cover band from Eastern Berks County, playing. A variety of styles and always eager to keep the dance floor packed!"
Mike’s BBQ (a Philadelphia favorite)
- 4 pm until sell-out. The menu:
- Smoked Brisket Cheesesteak with house Cooper Sharp Whiz
- Pulled Pork Sandwiches topped with Carolina Slaw
- Smoked Gouda mac-n-cheese

Free Apples!
- Pfeffer will hand out complimentary apples from Big Hill Ciderworks, one of the fruit sources for his Apple Brandy
