Set on a cold, clear, winter night in a mythical small town, Almost, Maine follows local residents as they fall in and out of love in ways that are funny, awkward, and completely unexpected. In a series of poignant and witty vignettes, ordinary people find themselves in extraordinary moments: a woman carries her literal broken heart in a paper bag, a man unable to feel physical pain discovers emotional vulnerability, and old flames reappear at the least convenient times. It is a heartfelt, deeply human, and thoroughly enjoyable night of theatre that will leave audiences smiling.
