Napa Valley Wine Tasting at The Heights Center to Benefit The Heights Foundation

Wine enthusiasts and supporters of The Heights Foundation are invited to an exclusive Wine Tasting event on Tuesday, June 23, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at The Heights Center, located at 15570 Hagie Drive in Fort Myers. Hosted by local media personality Gina Birch and Brian Noshay of Materra Cunat Family Vineyards, the intimate event will offer guests the opportunity to sample premium Napa Valley wines while enjoying gourmet appetizers prepared by Chef Gloria Jordan of Jordan’s Wine Bar and Cellar. Located in Napa Valley’s renowned Oak Knoll District, Materra Cunat Family Vineyards is a boutique, family-owned winery known for its estate-grown wines, personalized hospitality, and unique blend of Napa Valley winemaking and Japanese cultural influences. The winery’s name, “Materra,” reflects a philosophy rooted in “Mother Earth” and a deep commitment to craftsmanship, agriculture, and bringing people together through wine. Guests attending the event will sample thoughtfully crafted wines that capture the spirit of Napa Valley while learning more about the vineyard’s story, winemaking traditions, and hospitality experience. The evening will also feature an exclusive live auction, including a luxurious three-night stay at Materra’s private Napa guest house, including a private tour and tasting for up to six guests at the vineyard’s picturesque Napa Valley estate. Approximately 780 children live in a mixture of single-family homes and multi-family apartments. Demographically, the population is approximately 79% Hispanic, 15% African-American, and 6% Caucasian. The poverty rate for children in Harlem Heights is more than twice the county average, with family income 50% below the county average. As a result, families cannot easily access family support services in downtown Fort Myers and benefit greatly from programs within the neighborhood.
