Punta Gorda Sunset Drum Circle
The Punta Gorda drum circle is an informal community gathering open to anyone with no cost or expectations attached. Everyone is invited to come out and watch the sun set over Charlotte Harbor as we make music of an informal kind, with drums, shakers, and anything that makes noise or invokes something of the emotions as we celebrate community and the close of another day in paradise.
No experience or instrument is necessary to participate. Do bring a chair as we setup on the small beach area next to the Peace River Wildlife Center. If you don't have a drum, kitchenware often adds a nice timbre to the group. Or bring your hula hoop, or just come and dance. It's casual welcoming, and family oriented.
This event will be held on February 11, March 10, and April 14, 2024, starting around 90 minutes before sunset.
