Manatee Park Workday
We will enjoy the morning as we work to spruce up the native plant butterfly garden at Manatee Park. This periodic event is always a fun way to meet new people while enjoying nature.
Bring gloves and tools, if you have them. Otherwise, they will be provided. Bring something to drink out of. We recommend long sleeves and pants, closed-toe shoes and sun protection.
If pulling weeds isn't your thing, we need help with hauling trash bags and more.
This is a fun, friendly event where you can learn more about native plants.
We generally have lunch at a nearby restaurant afterwards for more conversation and laughs.
