Easy Composting & Worm Bin Workshop
Join Lee County Master Gardener Volunteers Angie Nichols and Jim Wolff for this FREE Seminar...with optional purchase of $20.00 per person (+plus Eventbrite service fees) if attendees wish to leave with a worm bin and starter materials consisting of shredded paper, twigs, and grasses (etc.) for worm bin bedding. Worms will be available for purchase separately at the completion of the workshop. Learn how to make a secure home for composting worms that can also process a wide variety of organic materials into a valuable soil amendment. Seminar will run 60-75 minutes followed by a 15-minute intermission. Afterwards, the worm bin workshop is 30 minutes followed by a Q&A. All times are approximate. FREE parking on the Rec Center parking lot.
