Fish With A Hero Meeting for Wounded or Disabled Veterans
Fish With A Hero invites wounded or disabled veterans in Southwest Florida to join us at Bass Pro Shops in Fort Myers for a free evening of fishing, food, fellowship, and connection.
This casual meetup is designed for wounded or disable veterans of all fishing experience levels, from lifelong anglers to those who simply want to learn more about local fishing opportunities. The evening will include practical discussion about some of the best fishing spots in Southwest Florida, tips on how to fish them, casting practice, fly tying, and time to connect with other veterans who understand the value of camaraderie and time outdoors.
Best of all, the event is free for wounded and disabled veterans. Attendees will enjoy free Publix sandwiches and snacks, free soft drinks, and access to helpful fishing knowledge from experienced members of the Fish With A Hero community. There will also be raffles for free professionally guided Florida charter fishing trips.
More than anything, this event is about fellowship with other SWFL veterans. Fish With A Hero is dedicated to honoring those who have served through camaraderie, time on the water, and meaningful connection.
