Step out of the darkness and into the world of the Greasers at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema’s live-hosted Movie Party screening for THE OUTSIDERS: THE COMPLETE NOVEL on Saturday, Aug. 9, in Naples.
A teen gang in rural Oklahoma, the Greasers are perpetually at odds with rival group the Socs. When Greasers’ Ponyboy (C. Thomas Howell) and Johnny (Ralph Macchio) get into a brawl that ends in the accidental death of a Socs member, the boys go on the run. Soon, Ponyboy and Johnny, along with the intense Dallas (Matt Dillon) and their other Greaser buddies, must contend with the consequences of their violent lives.
Whether you’ve read the book a dozen times or watched the film until the tape wore out, this is your chance to experience it in a whole new way. Your ticket doesn’t just get you a seat, it also comes with movie-themed props. Every guest will score a Greaser comb, Johnny’s sun catcher, and Ponyboy’s pencil to jot down your own thoughts or even start your own story.
