Japanese Stab Bookbinding Basics Workshop - Wednesday, October 16, 2024
Learn to make your own journals & hand-bound soft cover books! Japanese Stab Binding is a simple and beautiful bookbinding technique, with a variety of stitches ranging from simple to more advanced. In this class we will cover two beginner stitching examples, Yotsume Toji (4-hole binding), and Koki Toji (Noble Binding). Participants will leave class with up to 3 hand-bound books of varying stitches. Consider taking the Intermediate class afterwards to broaden your cache of bookbinding techniques.

Things to note:
• Makers of all skill levels are welcome. This class is suitable for ages teen+.
