UUCB Casual Concert: East Coast Dave
Versatile guitarist, mandolinist, and lap-steel/dobro player East Coast Dave will bring his distinct take on acoustic folk and Americana to the Casual Concert Series at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Buffalo on Saturday, June 21st at 2:00 pm. Stop by our historic sanctuary at 695 Elmwood during your Saturday stroll through Elmwood Village, pay what you can, relax, and enjoy the show.
East Coast Dave has been giving American music “The Pogues treatment” since 1994! By adding a healthy dose of rock and roll energy and Gen X irreverence to the acoustic blues, old-time, and early jazz music of the “old, weird America”, East Coast Dave comes up with his unique take on folk music for the “new, even weirder America”.
UUCB’s Casual Concerts occur on the third Saturday of each month at 2:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome; pay what you're able. This series aims to share the universal ministry of music and the power of sound with the broader Buffalo community. As we do in our services, these concerts showcase a diverse range of musical styles and sound-based experiences so that there is something for everyone. We hope these monthly offerings help lift our community’s spirits.
