By the end of class, you'll have a strong understanding of how to safely use the Metalshop and its tools. Plus, you'll make your very own project to take home!

How to safely operate the MIG welder
How to use the plasma cutter
How to safely operate the chop saw and bandsaw
How to use the bench grinder and angle grinder

Upon completion, and with a pay-what-you-can donation to The Foundry, you'll be eligible to use our Makerspaces during Open Maker Hours (Mondays 6–9pm & Saturdays 9am–1pm) to continue building your skills and work on personal projects with support from our trained supervisors.
