Happy Hour History: Evening with Brian Higgins
Join us at The Buffalo History Museum for a special conversation with Brian Higgins, President and Chief Executive Officer of Shea’s Performing Arts Center. As a former U.S. Congressman, Higgins represented Western New York in Washington for nearly two decades. A lifelong Buffalonian and champion for regional revitalization, Higgins will reflect on his journey from the Buffalo Common Council to Capitol Hill, and on the people, projects, and principles that shaped his public service.
From advocating for the redevelopment of Buffalo’s waterfront to strengthening the Great Lakes region and securing federal investments in local infrastructure and health research, Higgins has left a lasting mark on the city he calls home.
This program offers a unique opportunity to hear firsthand insights from one of Western New York’s most influential contemporary leaders. The event is presented by WNY Mensa and hosted by retired Buffalo News reporter/editor Budd Bailey.
The Program is $12 for General Admission, Free for Members of MENSA and the Buffalo History Museum
