BUFFALO CHAMBER MUSIC SOCIETY CONCERT
Formed in 2011, the Horszowski Trio has established itself as one of the world's leading chamber ensembles. Taking its name from the Polish-born pianist Mieczyslaw Horszowski, the Trio's pianist, Rieko Aizawa was his final pupil at the Curtis Institute of Music. A highlight of their concert will be the "Fantasiestucke Project", three works commissioned from American composers and inspired by the music of Robert Schumann to celebrate the trio's 10th anniversary.
