Keuka Lake Out of the Darkness Walk to Fight Suicide
On Sunday, October 16 at the Keuka Lake State Park, walk with us to fight suicide and raise awareness about mental health. Funds raised bring suicide prevention programs and resources from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) to Yates County and other rural areas surrounding Keuka Lake. This is a family-friendly event with no fundraising minimum required. Connect with local service providers and get resources, hear other's stories, and buy AFSP merchandise. Pick up Honor Beads on-site to show your connection(s) to the cause, and participate in Hope and Healing activities to share messages of hope and remembrance. You can pre-register online, or in-person at the walk from the time check-in begins until the walk starts. Walk donations are accepted until December 31st.
